Some set great value on method, while others pride themselves on dispensing with method. To be without method is deplorable but to depend entirely on method is worse.
You must first learn to observe the rules faithfully: after wards modify them according to your intelligence and capacity. The end of all method is to seem to have no method.
If you aim to dispense of method, learn method. If you aim at facility, work hard. If you aim for simplicity, master complexity."

You really can't go wrong if you adhere to the formula above. It is interesting to see the inclusive aesthetic of eastern art compared to the exclusive aesthetic of western art; eventually they both come to the same place.
I'm going to try to put my small prints up on this site with the help of a large scanner this Thursday. I have one more bird to carve before I'm ready for my schools Osaka show in thirty days, in addition to the term papers I must write. Sadly this means I have to suspend my progress on the spectator round for the Henshin Scramble. I suppose I will get as much done before the end of the tournament and hope people appreciate that!
